Frequently Asked Questions

Do I need any experience to start taking lessons?

Nope, we promise! No experience (or talent, for that matter) required! You’re not too old, too slow, too tall, too short, too anything. Dancing is joyous, and joy is for everyone!

Most people take lessons right in their homes — the living room, the den, or even the kitchen! If you have access to another venue, you’re welcome to use any space that you have legal right and permission to occupy. Please let us know the location address before the lesson, of course!

For most dances, not very much. Imagine you were out dancing at a bar, a wedding, or on a cruise. On a crowded dance floor, you don’t have much space at all! You can learn basic, social dance steps in an area as small at 8’x8′. Just push the coffee table aside and roll up the rug!

Usually, we’re in your home. So, you should wear whatever you’re comfortable wearing in your home (and, don’t worry — your instructor will do the same)!

There’s one exception: if you’re preparing for an event such as a wedding, we recommend doing at least a few lessons wearing the same shoes you plan to wear at the event. That way, you’ll have some practicing dealing with any differences in balance and traction before you hit the floor.

We hope to provide simple and transparent pricing.

Your first lesson — your trial lesson — will cost $49.

Subsequent lessons are $95 each.

If you enroll on 10 or more lessons at a time, you’ll get a 10% package discount.

Absolutely! Whether it’s a few couples that want to learn together, a bridal party, or a large event, we’d love to get everyone dancing! Send over the details in our contact form and we’ll provide pricing based on your needs.

It's hard to buy shoes when you have two left feet.

Take the first step! Schedule a lesson today and you'll grace the dance floor in no time.

"You're allowed to take your dancing seriously... as long as you don't take yourself too seriously."
